Along with Columbia's more than 70 city parks and trails, the trailhead of the historic Katy Trail begins just steps from The District. The Katy Trail is the longest, non-motorized segment of the Lewis and Clark Heritage Trail, offering modern-day explorers a unique way to discover the Missouri River Valley.

Featuring over 150 artists the North Village Arts Districts is one of COMO’s best kept secrets. Open daily to the public, explore the labyrinth of galleries and studios scattered throughout the nine square blocks that make up the Arts District. Don’t miss First Fridays in the District, a free art crawl held the first Friday of every month from 6 to 9 pm featuring music, art demonstrations, children’s activities, beverages and much more.
